Okay and a dip.

[both laughing]

Virginie and I like to dance every time. [laughs]

Just to make sure it feels right.

[serene music]

Hi Vogue, my name's Sofia Richie,

and we are here in Paris for my final wedding dress fitting.

I am here with my soon-to-be mother-in-law,

Lady Caroline Grainge and my best friend, Ali Meller.

Today we are going to the Chanel Atelier

to see my three dresses.

There are three dresses because there are three events.

We have a rehearsal dinner, we have my wedding dress,

and of course the after party.

It was like larger than life,

a dream to have a Chanel wedding dress.

I am so excited to see this beautiful dress

that I've heard so much about.

I think it's gonna be quite emotional.

I always had this vision of like the big princess dress

and going big, but as I got older I realized

that I wanted something a bit more simple.

Maybe simple's the wrong word

cause my dress is definitely not simple, [laughs]

but you'll see it.

[serene music]

[Lady Caroline] Hello.

[Sofia] Oh my goodness.

Wow, stunning.

[Sofia gasps]

[Lady Caroline] It's perfect isn't it?

It's absolutely perfect.

[Sofia] It's so delicate.

I'm like scared.

I'm like scared to wear it because it's so perfect.

[Lady Caroline] This is all hand, it's all hand.

[Lady Caroline gasps]

Stunning.

It's beautiful.

Thank you so much.

[Lady Caroline] And the bust, oh my god, those buttons.

Look at this.

[whispering] Oh my god.

This had none of this last time.

You guys really finished this.

[Lady Caroline] Stunning.

[Sofia] It's beautiful.

Should we start here?

Cause this one I'm really excited to try.

[bright music]

Isn't it?

Like, wow.

[Sofia humming]

Do we love it?

[Lady Caroline] Really beautiful.

[Lady Caroline] Love? Yeah.

It, it honestly fits like a glove.

I'm scared to move cause I don't wanna ruin one bead.

This is like a fairytale.

It really is.

It's like an art piece,

but I feel like a princess.

I really do.

How long has it been?

Since we started?

Four months and half to to make the the big one.

And uh, all done with this one one months after?

Three months to make this one.

Sorry, a lot of beading, a lot of detail

for three months. My pleasure my dear.

Yes, thank you.

I'll be thanking you forever for this one.

So the rehearsal dinner we said is cocktail.

It's fun, it's colorful.

So I really wanted to bring like a sparkly, elegant

perspective with the dress.

Obviously there's a lot going on with beading.

My hair will probably get tangled if we leave it down.

So we're thinking maybe like a side part

or something just up, so we can show off the neck

and the detailing.

And I'm keeping the makeup for the entire weekend

super simple and clean.

I just want it to feel timeless

and I do not wanna look back in 20 years and be like,

She's a glamazon. [laughs]

This to me is like my little girl dream, this dress.

And the fact that it is inspired

off of Claudia Schiffer's runway look is iconic and dope.

I can't go any tighter or I'll, I think I'll die.

So cute.

[people speaking French]

[Ali] What do you think? So cute.

I love it.

[serene music]

I can dance.

I can move.

I love it.

It's like, I feel like it's extremely traditional Chanel

with the flower.

So I have asked for the after party

to be somewhat like a nightclub. [laughs]

Very dark, fun music, strobe lights.

I will be eating pizzas and fries in this dress.

Pray for this dress.

It will be my life mission

to make sure nothing happens to it.

[bright piano music]

[Lady Caroline] The back is so beautiful.

[Madame Olivia Douchez speaking French]

Oh my god,

it is such magic.

I really think Elliot's gonna love it.

He's honestly my my biggest cheerleader when it comes

to anything I wear.

If he doesn't cry, I will be very sad. [laughs]

I have actually on the inside,

which I can't show you right now, my something blue.

So it says S&E with the date underneath it.

So that's my something blue,

and I'm gonna keep it close to my chest, so I put it there.

We also loved this design here, which is kind of like

a heart in the middle of my ch of my chest and my ribs.

And then there's also another heart right here.

I can't really bend,

but right there facing the other direction.

So they're like two hearts facing each other.

[Madame Olivia Douchez speaking French]

[Sofia] Once we kind of went in that direction

for the rehearsal dinner, they were like,

We'd love for you to try on this silhouette

of this fall/winter look that we have for 2022-23.

We kind of recreated the top of that dress,

and then made it bridaly and it's perfection.

[serene piano music]

These beautiful women made this beautiful dress for me,

and you guys are unbelievable.

Thank you so much.

I was extremely intimidated coming into these fittings

just because Chanel's such a big house,

but they were so open to hearing my thoughts

and suggestions and they were so lovely to work with.

And I adore everyone that I got to know along the process.

And again, it's something I'll never forget.

It was a dream, and I'm honestly devastated that it's over.

I'm like, can I come back every year

and make a dress with you guys just for fun? [laughs]

What I look forward to the most on my wedding day

is honestly just being present with my husband.

I am so excited to be married

just because I'm marrying Elliot.

I know that sounds so cheesy,

and I'm not gonna cry.

He's like the man of my dreams.

So I'm so excited.
